Slovak skier Katarina Srobova won the FIS category slalom at the 70th anniversary of the Slovak Grand Prix. At Strbske Pleso on the Solisko - Furkota slope she was the fastest skier in the first and second rounds. In the aggregate of both rounds, she won with a time of 1:39.88 minutes ahead of other Slovaks Sona Moravcikova (+1.26 s) and Lucie Hladka (+1.27 s).

"I am very satisfied with my performance. The course was very well prepared. It is a bit of satisfaction for yesterday's giant slalom, in which I was eliminated in the second round," said Katarina Srobova at the finish line. "The course suited me perfectly. Maybe because my coach was building it. I definitely enjoyed it today and I can be satisfied with both," added Katarina, who is waiting for the Slovak Giant Slalom and Slalom Championships on March 25 and 26 in Jasna at the end of the season.
Katarina's younger sister Veronika won the giant slalom and slalom combination, winning silver in the giant slalom and finishing eighth in the slalom.
The best Slovak among men, Philippe Beck, finished in fourth place - two hundredths behind the podium. The winner was Pole Bartlomiej Sanetra with a time of 1:36.06 min, second was Atanas Petrov from Bulgaria (+0.83) and third place was taken by another Pole, Pawel Balas (+1.33).
