70th FIS Alpine Slovak Grand Prix 2025, Stbske Pleso - Teams Invitations

DEAR FRIENDS AND DOWNHILL SKIING FANS,

After a year, we have the honor to welcome you again to the JUBILEE 70th FIS Alpine Slovak Grand Prix at Štrbské Pleso in the High Tatras.

In 2025, we will celebrate the 70th year of the VCS, one of the oldest races not only in Slovakia but also in Europe. We are proud of the rich history of the Grand Prix, which is closely linked to the development and popularization of downhill skiing in our country (and in the former Czechoslovakia).

After the first years, which were held as the largest international downhill race in the former Czechoslovakia, the Grand Prix of Slovakia (VCS) was held 8 times as a European Cup and 6 times as a World Cup race. In 1974, we had the honor of organizing the VCS as the final of the Men's and Women's World Cup.

Every year we strive to make the VCS a top race on the calendar, providing competitors with the best conditions to compete in our iconic High Tatras and guests and fans with the experience of a FIS race.
